Wolf Eyewear Group, one of the UK’s leading independent eyewear companies, has been appointed the exclusive distributor for LOMA eyewear across the UK and Ireland. The partnership brings a distinctive new collection inspired by Lower Manhattan to independent opticians for the first time.
LOMA – which stands for LOwer MAnhattan – is a handcrafted optical and sunglasses collection designed in Paris by a French-Italian designer, Cedric Rizzo. Every frame is made with acetate and titanium, drawing inspiration from the streets, stories and creative energy of one of the world’s most iconic neighbourhoods.
LOMA’s design DNA is rooted in Lower Manhattan’s architecture, music and streetscape. The end tips mirror the shape of the Manhattan shoreline, with key streets and avenues laser-engraved onto the titanium. A geometric pattern on the rims and temple cores takes its cue from the sculptured detailing beneath the Washington Square Arch, while a lightning bolt motif on the logo and inside the temples pays tribute to the area’s legendary rock and punk music heritage. Every model is named after a street found in Lower Manhattan.
Wolf Eyewear Group has built its reputation as a trusted partner to independent opticians across the UK, with its Wolf Eyewear brand offering bold, colourful frames backed by genuine personal service. The addition of LOMA strengthens the group’s portfolio with a collection that combines artisan craftsmanship with a rich brand narrative, giving independent practices another compelling point of difference on the high street.
Tom Wolfenden, CEO of Wolf Eyewear Group, said: “Cedric Rizzo is a great friend of mine with a long history of designing brilliant product. His passion for eyewear and storytelling is infectious, and LOMA is a collection with real soul. With our shared drive to build a great community of independent opticians, we’re thrilled to bring this collection exclusively to the UK and Ireland.”
The full LOMA collection will make its UK debut at 100% Optical, taking place from 28 February to 2 March 2026 at ExCeL London. Visitors can view the range on the Wolf Eyewear stand (G20) by appointment. Designer Cedric Rizzo will be on the stand on Saturday and Sunday, a rare chance to meet the creative mind behind the collection and hear the stories woven into every frame.
